Adjustments
Full body spinal and extremity chiropractic adjustments, including spinal traction, spinal decompression, manual therapy, drop adjustments, & instrument- assisted adjusting. Dr. Shiau has extensive training in numerous chiropractic adjustment techniques.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture, dry-needling and cupping therapy. A proven treatment for over 2,000 years that is very successful at treating neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Shiau is board-certified in Acupuncture and has over 600 clinical and academic hours of training.
Injury Rehab
Each patient gets prescribed a customized and specific sports rehab program. These exercises are supplemented with therapeutic modalities like electrical muscle stim, taping, and moist heat therapy.
Soft Tissue Therapy
Trigger point muscle release on spasming and stiff muscles. Soft-tissue therapy includes Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Myofascial Therapy Release (MRT), kinesio-taping, and Pin & Stretch technique.

Meet Dr. Powell Shiau

Dr. Powell Shiau is a Doctor of Chiropractic and the owner of District Injury & Spine Center. He is board-certified in chiropractic, acupuncture, physiotherapy and regularly integrates rehabilitative exercises, myofascial release, and acupuncture into treatments. He specializes in Acupuncture and Soft Tissue Therapy, in addition to full spine and extremity chiropractic adjustments.

I prioritize patient communication and promise my patients they will be heard and understood.
